Adwords competition has become fierce, but considdering that we are comparing niche marketing strategies I will asume that the Adwords campaign will only run on the top spots. The Organic Niche Marketer will tartget the lower block in the middle, the actual search results google returns. These positions are free. Let’s take a look at how much of the traffic the 2 campaigns get. Keep in mind that we are comparing a free and a paid niche marketing strategy.

This value is about the same for the top 3 adwords ads. You can use googles own keyword tool for verification of these numbers if You don’t believe me.
The first organic listing is getting 40% of all the clicks. 40% ! That is around 4100% more effective than the top adwords spots. The traffic dramatically decreases for the next spots but an organic listing will receive at least 3% -6% of the cliks and the last listing on the first page of the google SERPs is receiving an amazing 10% of the traffic that keyword is good for. 1000% more effective than adwords. And all these spots are available for free.
